Diet Update

I haven't done an update on how my diet is going for quite a long time, I'm pleased to say that I have now lost 28lbs and am over halfway to my goal weight! I still attend the Weight Watcher meetings regularly - they really help me keep focused.

The weight's coming off very slowly recently, these last 3 weeks I've only lost half a pound each week. But it's still a loss and they say it's best coming off slowly. It's hard at times, my social life tends to be mainly centred around going out for meals, but I'm managing that fairly well.

People are really noticing now and it's always encouraging when people comment on the weight loss. I still feel motivated so - watch this space!

Weigh-in Week 15

Just been to my weigh-in at Weight Watchers and I've reached my 10% goal! It happens that my 10% goal is also halfway to my final goal so I am well chuffed that I have got to that point. I have now lost 21 pounds, and am as motivated as I was when I started my diet in the New Year. So I have to lose the same again - and I AM going to do it!

Update on New Year's Resolution

You may remember I made the standard New Year's resolution this year that many people make - to lose weight. Well, would you believe I've stuck to it and now have lost 17.5 pounds so far! I can hardly believe it myself, I am really motivated this time. I am losing it slowly which is the best way, and I am staying with it. I still treat myslef every now and then and Max is enjoying all his extra long walks! I already feel better for the weight I've lost and I'll stick with this diet for as long as I need to.

Hello 2008 - Here's My Resolution!

Happy New Year to you!

I know it's a bit of a cliche but I'm going to lose weight! I've signed on with Weightwatchers, Thursday is weigh-in day and I am really motivated. I feel stodgy and clothes are tight, and also, being of "middle years" I know it's not good for my health to be overweight. I'll never be slim, never have been, and don't need to be, but I just want to lose a couple of stones and feel better physically. I'll be blogging some updates every now and then.
